Requirement : Reconstruction of uninterruptible power supply systems
Tender description : Tenders are invited for Reconstruction of uninterruptible power supply systems In the telecommunications rooms of MAVIR Zrt., custom-built uninterruptible power supply systems ensure the safety and continuity of power supply tailored to individual needs. The fundamental reason for the custom design was to keep full modularity in mind, allowing for holistic design while ensuring that changing and evolving platform systems do not reduce the usability of uninterruptible power sources. In addition to platform independence, the possibility of plastic performance expandability also arises as a basic requirement, meeting the extremely fast and constantly changing information and communication needs. Considering redundancy, currently, a parallel system of 2 units of 19” 47U high rack cabinets built with hot-swap Gamatronic SC1-UDC+ charge controller and Gamatronic HPSuV 48V-33A LLC-N 50/60 type devices provide the 48V DC voltage. There is a demand at the sites for increasing battery capacity, which is currently only possible by placing additional racks or battery cabinets, which in many cases cannot be solved due to space constraints, and the procurement, installation, and connection of rack cabinets incur extra costs. Furthermore, in the case of increasing the number of batteries, weight increase must also be considered, which may require static calculations for certain properties. 1.) Desired equipment The references to specific services in the procurement documents were made solely for the clear and understandable definition of the subject matter; offers can be made for the prescribed or equivalent services in terms of technical parameters. The reference also includes "or equivalent" in all cases. Charge controller and charging module for the 22-24 units: - 44 units of DC 48V 12kW hot swap shelf charge controller and charging module (19” wide and maximum 3 units high) - 10 units of DC 48V 24kW hot swap shelf charge controller and charging module (19” wide and maximum 4 units high) - The rear fixed angled connector layout of the hot swap shelves of the charge controllers and charging modules must match that of the currently designed Gamatronic charging modules (for example, ENETEK Modulflex family or equivalent devices). The modification of copper conductors within the rack and the installation of additional connection points are not permitted. - The charge controller must communicate with the batteries, optimizing the charging process and increasing their lifespan. - The charge controller and charging module must have overvoltage protection. - The status of the DC 48V power supply system must be able to be monitored online via SNMP. - The DC 48V power supply system must be capable of sending SNMP traps regarding faults, which must be compatible with the MAVIR Zabbix system. Batteries for the 32-47 units - 90 units of 19” wide maximum 4 units high DC 48V minimum 100Ah or up to 20% larger capacity lithium iron phosphate battery group (LFP or LiFePo). The weight of a battery pack must not exceed 65kg. - 40 units of 19” wide maximum 4 units high DC 48V minimum 150Ah or up to 20% larger capacity lithium iron phosphate battery group (LFP or LiFePo). The weight of a battery pack must not exceed 90kg. 2.) Conditions of installation activities The replacement of the above equipment will be carried out by the contractor at 27 MAVIR sites (in various locations across the country). The duration of the work must not exceed 2x8 hours, and only one uninterruptible power supply cabinet can be de-energized at a time. During the de-energization period, the personnel performing the work must provide an external 48V DC uninterruptible source for the equipment. A minimum of 2 personnel experienced in the installation of 48V DC uninterruptible power supplies and possessing professional FAM training is required for the work. 3.) Warranty conditions For charge controllers and charging modules, the expected warranty is a minimum of 24 months after proof of performance. For batteries, the expected warranty is a minimum of 48 months after proof of performance. 4.) Deadlines for performance Phase 1: The deadline for the delivery of equipment is 3 months from the effective date of the contract. (Early performance is allowed) Phase 2: The deadline for completing installation tasks and training is 2 months from the handover of Phase 1 (Early performance is allowed) 5.) Training and documentation The installer must prepare MAVIR AHO site/service staff (up to 10 people) for operation and configuration of the equipment. MAVIR employees should be able to perform system-level tasks beyond modular system failures, hardware expansion of the power supply system, and related software settings. The training should primarily be conducted on-site at the installation locations, and online training is possible for software settings if necessary. The following training sessions should be conducted (maximum duration of 5 days): - commissioning, on-site training - maintenance training - operator training - safety training - software and system integration training After installation, the following documentation is required: - Implementation documentation, which includes the block diagram of the power supply cabinet, single-line diagrams, and cabling plans; - Technical description, which includes the systems structure, operation, and main technical data, types and factory identifiers of built-in devices; - Operation and maintenance manual, which includes detailed maintenance tasks and cycle times; - Factory documentation, data sheets, compliance (CE) certificates; - Software documentation as well as configuration backups, license keys, communication settings related to the devices; - VBF protocol after installation.
