General procurement notice for Financing of the Climate Resilience Project By Preserving the Biodiversity of the Parks
This Project Aims at the Following Main Objectives: (i) to Enhance Natural Capital;(ii) to Strengthen Resilience to the Risks of Natural Disasters.
the Project Includes the Following Shutters:
component I: Valuation of Protected Areas and Support for Governance.
component Ii: Strengthening the Resilience of Populations in the Face of Climate Change.
component Iii: Project Management.
The Malagasy Government has received a grant from the African Development Fund to finance the Climate Resilience Project
through the Preservation of Park Biodiversity (PRCPB).
This project has the following main objectives: (i) to enhance natural capital; (ii) to strengthen resilience to the risks of natural disasters.
The project includes the following components:
- Component I: Enhancement of protected areas and support for governance.
- Component II: Strengthening the resilience of populations to climate change.
- Component III: Project management.
Procurement of goods, works, and consulting services financed by the Bank under the program will be carried out in accordance with the African Development Bank's "Procurement Framework for Bank Group-Financed Operations," October 2015 edition, and in accordance with the provisions set out in the Grant Agreement. More specifically, procurement will be carried out as follows:
The following contracts will be awarded in accordance with Madagascar's procurement system using national standard bidding documents:
- Goods:
Goods including IT equipment will be procured through solicitation of suppliers; Computer, office, and autocom equipment, including connections, telephones, office equipment and materials, double-cabin pickup trucks and motorcycles, firefighting kits, small equipment for community maintenance of irrigated micro-areas, small equipment for maintenance groups and equipment for campsites and circuits, which will be acquired through a national open call for tenders.
