Tenders Are Invited for Acquisition of Computer Equipment
REPUBLIC OF MOZAMBIQUE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS
SOUTHERN AFRICA TRADE AND CONNECTIVITY PROJECT
PUBLIC TENDER ANNOUNCEMENT
No. 116/SATCP/G-RFB/2025
Acquisition and Installation of IT Equipment to Support the Systems of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries (MAAP), the National Institute of Fish Inspection (INIP), and the National Institute of Standardization and Quality (INNOQ).
The Government of Mozambique (GoM), through the Ministry of Transport and Logistics (MTL), has received funding from the World Bank (WB) to fund the Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity Project (SACP), whose objectives are defined in four components:

Cost Reduction commercial;
Strengthening regional coordination and project implementation;
Strengthening value chains for regional integration; and
Strengthening transportation infrastructure to improve market access.
Therefore, as part of the implementation of the Southern Africa Trade and Connectivity Project activities,
the Government of Mozambique, through the MTL, intends to apply part of the project funds to the Acquisition of
IT Equipment to Support the Systems of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries (MAAP), the National Institute of Fish Inspection (INIP, IP), and the National Institute of Standardization
and Quality (INNOQ), inviting interested and qualified bidders to submit
their best proposals for the acquisition of the above-mentioned equipment, by lots and according to the following: (i) Lot 1 - Equipment for MAAP, (ii) Lot 2 - Equipment for INIP, IP, and Lot 3 - Equipment for
INNOQ, IP.

4. Proposals must be accompanied by bid guarantees in the following amounts: (i) Lot 1 - MZN 320,000.00, (ii) Lot 2 - MZN 190,000.00, and (iii) Lot 3 - MZN 260,000.00, all valid for 120 days and in accordance with the format provided in the bidding document.

The competition will be governed by the Procurement Regulations for Borrowers of Investment Project Finance Operations, September 2023 edition, which can be found at www.worldbank.org.
Proposals must be submitted to the address below by September 3, 2023. 2025. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders' designated representatives and any person wishing to attend at the address below,
on September 3, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. local time.
7. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations, which require the Borrower to disclose information about the
winning bidder's beneficial ownership as part of the Notice of Contract Award, using the
Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form included in the bidding document.
