As part of the program for mini -networks in Africa (Africa Minigrids Program - AMP) and the joint program entitled Promote solar self -consumption for sustainable energy in Djibouti, funded by the SDG Fund joint, the Ministry of Energy responsible for natural resources, in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) In September 2025 will organize a two -day national forum dedicated to the promotion of solar in Djibouti. This forum will bring together key stakeholders in order to present the results of the project and to promote exchanges around technical, financial, regulatory and social challenges related to the development of solar energy in the country.
