Request for Expression of Interest (eoi): IN FRENCH: The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is seeking expressions of interest for a call for tenders it intends to issue for the provision of support services by an expert, holding a federal master's degree / federal certificate of electrician installer for various works and tasks within the Palais des Nations in Geneva. A mandatory site visit will take place at the Palais des Nations. The aim is to establish a contract for an initial period of three (3) years with two (2) extension options of one (1) year each, subject to satisfactory performance of the contract by the Contractor and the availability of UNOG budgets, i.e. a maximum of five (5) years. Please note that this call for expressions of interest (CEI) does not constitute a solicitation. ???Only suppliers deemed qualified by UNOG to provide the required services will be invited to participate.? The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is seeking expressions of interest for an Invitation to Bid it intends to issue for the provision of the following services: - Sporadic inspections of the low-voltage electrical installations at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, pursuant to Article 39, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance on Low-Voltage Installations (OIBT) - Support by an expert with a federal master's degree / a federal electrical installer's certificate for various works and tasks within the Palais des Nations in Geneva. A mandatory site visit will take place at the Palais des Nations. The aim is to establish a contract for an initial period of three (3) years with two (2) options for extension of one (1) year each, subject to satisfactory execution of the contract by the Contractor and the availability of UNOG budgets, i.e. a maximum of five (5) years. Specific Requirements/Information REQUIREMENTS: 1-Be an entity specialized in the field of services to be provided described above. 2-Justify a minimum of five (5) years of seniority in the provision of services similar to those described above. 3-Possess the required technical intervention staff: at least two (2) people. 4-The personnel involved will have solid knowledge of the electricity sector in Switzerland with regard to OIBT/NIBT standards and will be an approved/certified electrician according to the Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI). 5-The main contact person will be French-speaking,salariée du contractant et aura le niveau de compétence et de responsabilité requis. *********************************************** IN ENGLISH : 1- Be an entity specialized in the field of services described above. 2- Have at least five (5) years of experience providing services similar to those described above. 3- Have the required technical staff: a minimum of two (2) people. 4-The personnel involved will have solid knowledge of the Swiss electricity sector with respect to OIBT/NIBT standards and will be licensed/certified electricians according to the Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations (ESTI). 5-The main contact person will be French-speaking, an employee of the contractor and will have the required level of competence and responsibility.
