Expression of Interest: background the Resilient Livelihoods and Empowerment of Rural Women Project, Financed By the Asian Development Bank (adb), is Being Implemented in Six Districts of Khatlon Region, Tajikistan, to Support Gender Equality and Improve the Wellbeing of Rural Women. Output 3 of the Project Focuses on Strengthening Protection Services for Survivors of Gender-based Violence (gbv) and Improving Their Access to Economic Empowerment Opportunities.
the Consultant Will: • Identify Agricultural and Value-added Products Suitable for Production and Sale By Women at the Center. • Assess Sales Opportunities Via a Small Shop Inside the Center. • Evaluate Market Demand (local/regional) and Consumer Segments (residents, Schools, Visitors). • Analyze Processing, Packaging, and Storage Options. • Estimate Startup Costs, Margins, and Potential Revenue. • Recommend: O Priority Product Lines O Required Equipment and Materials O Capacity Development Activities on Entrepreneurship in Agri-processing O Marketing and Sales Strategies (in-house and External)
