Invitation for Bids (ifb) –Mining, pumping and stockpiling of sand from off-shore at kerawalapitiya, sri lanka
Approximately 2.3 million m³ of off-shore sand shall be mined, of which 300,000 m³ will be used for land reclamation and 2,000,000 m³ for stockpiling. The Employer may request up to 1,000,000 m³ as an additional quantity for reclamation and/or stockpiling, to be executed at the same rates quoted in the Bill of Quantities.
Documents will be issued only to Tenderers representing their parent company upon submission of a written request and payment of a non-refundable fee of LKR 250,000.
The Pre-Tender Meeting will be held at 10:30 hrs on 30.12.2025 at Conference Room, SLLDC, No. 3, Sri Jayawardanapura Mawatha, Rajagiriya, Sri Lanka.
Sealed Tenders must be delivered to Chairman, SHLPC of Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, Environmental Protection & Technical Division, 4th Floor, Sethsiripaya Stage I, Battaramulla, Sri Lanka on or before 14:00 hrs on 06.02.2026. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of Tenderers’ representatives.
