Tenders are invited for Public transport services in the line bundle bruchsal north of the karlsruhe district
With the published preliminary information 77983-2025 and 650821-2025, the competitive procurement procedure was announced based on art. 5 para. 1 vo 1370/2007 in conjunction with gwb and vgv.
the district of karlsruhe is the public transport authority for its area of responsibility according to § 6 para. 1 öpnvg bw and intends to competitively award a public service contract (gross contract) with operations starting at the timetable change in december 2026.
the service contract covers bus and on-demand transport services in the line bundle bruchsal north.
the services must be provided on the following lines:
bus line services:
130 stettfeld - weiher - forst - bruchsal;
131 östringen - mingolsheim - kronau - weiher - ubstadt - bruchsal;
132 östringen - mingolsheim - langenbrücken - stettfeld - weiher - ubstadt (- bruchsal);
133 kronau - mingolsheim - östringen;
140 weiher - ubstadt - stettfeld / zeutern - langenbrücken - mingolsheim - östringen;
the scope of services for these lines includes approximately 24,990 timetable hours per standard year.
on-demand transport (line demand transport according to § 44 pbefg):
131m on-demand transport ("myshuttle"): service area "bad schönborn, kronau, weiher (and östringen)";
for the entire on-demand operation, an initial service volume of 5,539.5 on-demand vehicle operating hours per standard year is calculated for the first operating year (sum of hours within the disposition times multiplied by the number of vehicles to be deployed). from the second operating year, the service volume amounts to 3,693 on-demand vehicle operating hours per standard year.
until the start of operations, there may still be changes in the service offering (maximum +/- 5%); these changes must be taken into account and implemented by the company.
the contractor must comply with minimum percentage quotas for electrically powered vehicles to meet climate protection goals in both bus line and on-demand transport. more details can be found in the procurement documents. for the parking and charging of the vehicles to be deployed, the contractor can use a charging infrastructure area provided by the contracting authority free of charge (except for electricity).
