Tenders Are Invited for : National Id System Expansion Project
1. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (hereinafter referred to as the "Borrower') has received a Loan from the Export-Import Bank of Korea (hereinafter referred to as the "Bank*] from the resources of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) of the Republic of Korea in the amount of Seventy million US dollars (USD 70,000,000) toward the cost of National ID System Expansion Project (Phase II) in Tanzania (hereinafter referred to as the "Project*), and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the procurement of National ID System Expansion Project (Phase II).
2. The Project Executing Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of National ID System Expansion, the project scope of which is including (a) construction of Integration Operation Center (10C) building in Dodoma, IT Service Center (ISC] building in Kibaha, and Regional Registration Office (RR0) buildings in 31 location, (b) supply and installation of ICT equipment in NIDC, DRC, 10C, ISC, and RROs (new 31 and 106 existing RROs), (c) establishment of Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS] solution and iris registration system, (d) training, and (e) Operation and Maintenance Support.
