Tenders are invited for Tender for diplomatic mail shipments
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority) is offering two framework agreements regarding the handling of the contracting authoritys diplomatic shipments. A shipment is diplomatic when it is covered by the Vienna Convention of April 18, 1961, on diplomatic relations (Regulation No. 107 of November 11, 1968) or the Vienna Convention of April 24, 1963, on consular relations (Regulation No. 83 of December 11, 1972). The contracting authoritys diplomatic shipments include shipments of envelopes, bags, sacks, pallets, and cargo. The shipments are sent via courier, air freight, or road transport. The shipments are sent from Denmark to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Danish representations abroad and from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Danish representations abroad to Denmark. The framework agreements do not include shipments between representations abroad. The framework agreements are divided into two sub-agreements, where sub-agreement No. 1 includes envelopes, bags, and sacks, and sub-agreement No. 2 includes pallets and cargo. It is possible to submit bids for one or both sub-agreements. Each sub-agreement has a duration of two years with the possibility of extension for two additional years. The contracting authority will present what the tender includes at an information meeting, explain the background for the tender, the purpose of the tendered framework agreement, and how to submit bids. The date of the information meeting is stated in the attached tender conditions.
