Announcement of competition: VA along, EP 03
EP03 consists of construction work to be carried out on land and on water. EP03 is the last contract that NRVA will carry out to tie together the complete VA section that stretches from Åneby to Li with the nickname VA- på langs. EP03 is therefore a smaller project that will interface with already completed projects. The work will be carried out in summer/autumn 2026. Among other things, a trench will be dug in the slope towards the river at Slattums main pumping station and the existing water pipe in the river will be lifted up, mirror welded and connected with a new pipe on land. The existing and decommissioned water main in Nitelva between Nordre Holm and Li will be reused and replaced as a temporary solution. A water main is to be cut in the Nitelva at the Slattum main pumping station, run on land and connected to a previously established water main on land. In the case of the sales tank/flushing tank at Li, the existing temporary water line must be removed when the new water line between Nordre Holm and the sales tank/flushing tank at Li is put into operation. When the provisional water line at Li has been removed, the establishment of new municipal VA basins and lines outside the sales basin for connection to the existing municipal network are also included.
