the Nationwide Survey By Bast in 2008 Recorded a Deficit of Truck Parking Spaces on the A5 Between Gambacher Kreuz and Ohmtal Dreieck, Which Was Confirmed By a Nationwide Survey Conducted Again in 2013. This Leads to a High Safety Deficit, as Trucks Block the Entry and Exit Lanes and Cannot Adhere to the Prescribed Driving and Rest Times. the Planned Expansion of the Pwc Facility Gleiberger Land is Intended to Reduce the Mentioned Safety Risks for All Road Users.
the Existing Facilities Pwc Gleiberger Land and Pwc Silbersee Are Located on the A480 Between the Wettenberg Interchange and the Giessen Nordkreuz. They Extend Opposite Each Other Between the Operating Kilometers 84.750 and 85.250.

as Part of the Renovation Measures of the Pwc Facilities, Engineering Structures Will Also Be Built. the Following Structures Are to Be Constructed at Both Pwc Facilities:
- a Noise Barrier Between the Facility and the Highway,
- a Drained Infiltration Basin for the Infiltration and Treatment of the Surface Water From the Pwc Facility with a Pre-installed Sedimentation Chamber in Reinforced Concrete Construction.
the Measure Has No Impact on the Design of the A480, and the Entry and Exit Lanes of the Existing Rest Area Do Not Need to Be Changed for the Planned Renovation.
