Specific Procurement Notice construction Work for the Education and Vocational Training Center in Agriculture and Agro-industry in a Single Lot in Favor of the Padsfp

The Ministry of Public Administration, Administrative Reform, Employment, Vocational Training and Social Security has received funding from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance the Vocational Training System Development Support Project under a “Reverse Linkage” Approach, and intends to use part of this funding to make payments under the Construction Contract for the Agricultural and Agro-industrial Vocational Training Centre .
The Ministry of Public Administration, Administrative Reform, Employment, Vocational Training, and Social Security invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the construction of a vocational training center specializing in agriculture and agro-industry in the Contuboel Sector of the Bafata Region. The total constructed area of ??the center is 6,539 m² and includes (i) administrative buildings; (ii) three laboratories (microbiology, chemistry and biochemistry, and sensory analysis); (iii) six workshops; (iv) one technical room (for compressors, boilers, and water softeners); (v) a 500 m² livestock shed with an open area to be used as a teaching farm for training in the various specialties; and (vi) one storage building for agricultural equipment. In addition, the building includes (i) 2 dormitories (with a capacity of 240 students: 120 boys and 120 girls); (ii) 2 staff accommodations (for the school principal and the academic director); and (iii) 1 administrative block.
The tendering procedure will be an International Open Tender (IOT) reserved for IsDB Member Countries (IsDB Member Countries) as defined in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Goods, Works and Related Services under IsDB-Financed Projects, September 2018 (the “Guidelines”), published in April 2019 and revised in February 2023, and open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in the Guidelines. Potential bidders are also advised to review Clauses 1.18 to 1.21 of these Guidelines concerning the IsDB rules on conflicts of interest.
