Tenders are invited for 93610.200 new road connection, tingbjerg husum
The project involves the establishment of a new 350-meter road connection over the west rampart between the town meeting in Husum and the route in Tingbjerg. The construction works include the establishment of a complete road system of approximately 350 meters, which is partially executed as a new 40-meter long road bridge over the west rampart, connecting to the existing road network on both sides of the rampart, namely at the town meeting in Husum and the route in Tingbjerg. The contract is offered as a main contract. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The construction works mainly include clearing, setting up toad fences, establishing a complete new road system including a new bike path, sidewalk, Copenhagen crossings, new road construction, bridge construction, sheet piling, soil anchors, new drainage, new lighting, curbs, pavements, planting, marking, etc. Furthermore, a new parking lot must be established at Route 143. The works must be carried out in accordance with the guidelines for road works from the City of Copenhagen (road site park). ______________________________________________________________________________________________ In addition to the technical execution, preparatory works must be carried out prior to the commencement of the actual construction works, which includes establishing protective measures over the existing Ø1100 main transmission line (“the Bonn pipeline”) that runs along the Rampart Alley path. Prior to the establishment of the protective works, the Rampart Alley path must be rerouted south of the town meeting. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The background for the road project is housing policy and constitutes a prerequisite for the approval of the development plan for Tingbjerg/Utterslevhuse, and the purpose of establishing the road connection is to connect the existing roads Route and Langhusvej in Tingbjerg with the town meeting in Husum, thereby strengthening the connection between Tingbjerg and the rest of Copenhagen. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The Road Directorate executes the project on behalf of the City of Copenhagen, and the completed facility is transferred to the City of Copenhagen, which will be the future road authority. Attention is therefore drawn to the fact that although it is the Road Directorate that puts the project out to tender and is responsible for the project, it is the technical requirements and guidelines of the City of Copenhagen for the execution of the construction project in Copenhagen that are applicable. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ The preparatory works are critical in relation to other third-party projects in the area and include, among other things, the establishment of protective measures over the existing main transmission line that runs along the Rampart Alley path. The establishment of the protective measures is essential to ensure that heavier materials can be transported from the staging area to the work site. Due to the many overlapping projects in the area, the execution of the project is conditional on prior coordination with Hofor at the town meeting and in Tingbjerg. Hofor is establishing cloudburst protection over the entire town meeting from the period of September 1, 2025 - September 1, 2026, which is why it has been agreed that during the period from May 1, 2026, to September 2026, a shared transport corridor will be used for the transport of construction site traffic. The construction works must take place within a temporarily cleared and delineated area, and the project imposes special requirements for planning and construction pace as well as coordination with ongoing and upcoming interface projects. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
