Tender description : CONSTRUCTION OF STUDENT SERVICES AND MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING The Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University now invites bids for the proposed construction of the student services and multipurpose building, using the DESIGN AND BUILD SCHEME wherein the complete structure will eventually serve as a centralized hub for student affairs and services, housing various offices such as Guidance and Counselling, Scholarships, Registrar Extension Services, Career Placement, and Student Organizations, among others. Also include multipurpose areas for events, training sessions, and students’ engagement activities. Once completed, the building is envisioned to provide a centralized and accessible location for essential student services, offer a large multipurpose hall for institutional and student-led events, and include training rooms, a study lounge, and collaborative spaces. It is designed to support indoor recreational and leadership development activities, ensure inclusivity and accessibility in compliance with BP344, and improve service delivery and operational efficiency across the university’s student support units. Completion of the Works is required within 300 calendar days. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II. Instructions to Bidders ITB. The Works involve the Design and Build of a seven 7-storey building with a roof deck, with an approximate floor area of 834.27 square meters per level. The facility is strategically programmed to address the diverse operational and functional requirements of the University. The Ground Floor is allocated for core student services, while the Second Floor will house offices handling student transactions that are not conducted on a daily basis. The Third Floor is designated for administrative offices, and the Fourth Floor for executive offices. The Fifth Floor will accommodate income-generating hotel facilities. The Sixth Floor will feature functional halls, including a high-ceiling convention hall designed to host large gatherings and institutional events. The Seventh Floor will contain a restaurant and employees’ lounge, while the Roof Deck will serve as an open activity area suitable for events and dining.
