Tenders Are Invited for Consulting Services for Transaction Advisory Services and Optional Performance Monitoring Results-based Financing in the Water Sector Iii, Rbf Iii Project:
as Response to the Financial and Operational Challenges in Jordan, the German Government, Through Kfw Development Bank, Has Supported the Jordanian Government Since 2021 with a “results-based Financing” (rbf) Grant. as of Now, the Rbf Will Enter Its Third Phase (“rbf Iii”) and Will Focus on Financing of Following Measures:
• Improving the Operation of the So-called “cluster 2” By Installation and Monitoring of a Performance-based Private Operator. Cluster 2 Consists Of:
o Five Existing Wastewater Treatment Plants, Wwtp: Ramtha, Wadi Al-shallalah, Irbid Central, Wadi Al Arab and West-irbid.
o the Transmission Mains Transporting Effluent of the Five Wwtp Including Two Hydropower Plants (as Shouna, Wadi Arab).
o See Figure 1 for Overview on Plants and Their Location
• Support to the Performance-based Private Operation of the So-called “cluster 1” (wwtps Kufranja, West Jerash, East Jerash) Should the Funds Available Under Rbf Ii Not Be Sufficient (not Included in the Current Assignment).
