Notice Of Expression Of Interest Conducting Statistical Surveys, Including on the Tracking of Degrees and Employer Satisfaction Using Vocational Training Diplomas.
the Services Provided Under This Contract Concern the Mission of Collecting Reliable Data on the Socio-professional Integration of Graduates From Technical and Vocational Education and Training (tvet) as Well as on the Satisfaction of Employers Who Have Hired Tvet Graduates, in Order to Guide Training Policies and Strengthen the Training-employment Match in Benin. This is Part of a Single Survey Integrated Into a Monitoring and Evaluation System That Will Be Carried Out in Two Phases of the Project: at the Start to Establish the Baseline Situation, and at the End of the Project to Measure the Results Achieved. the Objectives Are To:
- Monitor and Measure the Employment Rate of Tvet Graduates
- Evaluate the Satisfaction and Expectations of Employers
- Analyze the Factors Influencing the Professional Integration of Youth and Women
- Guide Public Policies and Adapt the Training Offer to Market Needs
- Propose Recommendations and Sustainable Tools to Improve the Quality of Tvet.
As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (SN-EFTP), the Government of the Republic of Benin has received financing from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Skills Development for Employment Project in Priority Sectors – Phase I (PDCESP-I), and intends to use part of the funds granted under this credit to finance the recruitment of a firm to conduct statistical surveys, including on graduate tracking and employer satisfaction with TVET graduates (data collection, processing, and report production): baseline survey and follow-up survey. 2. The services provided under this contract relate to the task of collecting reliable data on the socio-professional integration of graduates of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and on the satisfaction of employers who have recruited TVET graduates, in order to guide training policies and strengthen the alignment of training with employment in Benin.
