Tenders are invited for Purchase of services for the inspection of persons, luggage, and items in courts nationwide, using metal detection arches, radiographic machines, and handheld metal detectors
At the entrances of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus, there is installed or will be installed, equipment for the control of passersby and objects, which consists of metal detection arches, X-ray machines, as well as handheld metal detectors. This equipment has been installed based on reports from the head of the crime prevention office regarding physical security measures in the courts. The reason for the installation of the aforementioned equipment is to conduct checks on incoming individuals and the objects they carry, with the aim of increasing (and ensuring) the security as well as the sense of security of judges, staff, lawyers, and the public visiting the courts.
