Tenders are invited for The acquisition of 14 electric trams intended to connect the municipality of oradea to the metropolitan area and the acquisition of maintenance and repair services necessary for the operation of the respective trams
The major benefit that justifies the implementation of a metropolitan train network is that this type of transport combines the essential advantages of urban transport (in this case with trams and buses) with those of regional trains in suburban areas, significantly contributing to the reduction of the number of cars, thus helping to decrease greenhouse gas emissions generated by the transport sector. The object of the contract to be awarded consists of the supply of 14 electric tram-trains (3 vehicles 25kv a.c./ 0.6 kv d.c./ autonomy + 11 vehicles 0.6 kv d.c./ autonomy), according to the specifications mentioned in the terms of reference.
