Tenders are invited for Invitation for Pre-Qualification - Priory Beach Development, Priory, St. Ann
The Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) has been mandated to upgrade several beaches across the Island under the Public Beaches Development Programme. The Priory Beach forms part of Phase 2 of this development programme. It is envisaged that the Priory Beach development will improve the quality of the beach, visiting experience for all users and provide a source of community and economic improvement islandwide. This Project will comprise the construction of new beach facilities, supporting structures, infrastructure upgrades, and extensive landscaping throughout Priory Beach. A central feature of the development is a dedicated fishing section incorporating a sea-to-table experience with live demonstrations showcasing traditional fishing methods and the journey of seafood from harvest to preparation and consumption, supported by display and activity zones designed for educational and cultural engagement.
