Tender description : Tenders Are Invited for Pre -tender Meeting is Scheduled at the Project Site, For april 8th, 2026, at 10:00 A.m. The Government of Grenada intends to finance the construction of projects in the various parishes of Grenada. These projects are geared towards continuing to build the island’s infrastructure resilience and will have the necessary assets to aid the facility users to its best ability. The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation invites suitable contractors to participate in the tendering process for the Construction of Retaining Wall at Woolwich Road, Town of St. George’s. Firms whether applying individually or in the form of a Joint Venture, shall: a) be legally incorporated or otherwise organized in and have their principal place of business in Grenada. b) be more than fifty (50) percent beneficially owned dictating by a citizen or citizens and/or a bona fide resident or residents of Grenada, or by a body corporate or bodies meeting these requirements, as far as the ownership can be reasonably determined; and The requirements for qualifications will include: (a) Experience as prime contractor in the construction of at least 6 assignments of similar nature and complexity comparable to the proposed project activity within the last 3 years, (b) Demonstrable cash flow (including access to credit) of (EC$) One (1) Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) (c) Key Personnel & Equipment (d) Tax Compliance Certificate (e) NIS Compliance Certificate Interested eligible applicants may obtain a complete set of the Tender Documents in English at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development at the first address below hard copy, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tender submissions must be in English and must be submitted hard copy to the mailing address below on April 3rd, 2026, at 1:00 pm Bidder must submit the project in a sealed envelope, which shall be clearly marked with the name of the project. The Government of Grenada reserves the right to accept or reject late or to cancel the qualification process. The Government of Grenada will not be bound to assign any reason for not selecting any applicant and will not defray costs incurred by applicants in the preparation and submission of the tender documents.
