Expression of interest for Consultant Responsible for Technical Support for the Burundian Bureau of Standardization (bbn)
the Government of the Republic of Burundi Received, From the African Development Bank Group, Financing in the Amount of Ua 15.4 Million to Contribute to the Agro-pastoral Entrepreneurship and Professional Development Project for Youth and Women (peappjf), P-bi-ie0-006. It is Planned That Part of the Resources of This Donation Will Be Used to Finance the Services of a Firm Responsible for Technical Support of the Office Burundian Standardization (bbn) On: (1) Knowledge of and Compliance with the Standards of Different Export Markets, Packaging Standards, Including the Training of Certified Executives; (2) Study of the Creation of a Support Structure for Cooperatives/smes on International Norms and Standards and Training of Certified Trainers of This Structure; (3) Training of Cooperatives and Smes on Standards By the Bbn/this Structure Created with the Support of Technical Assistance; (4) Support for Smes/cooperatives in Selected Value Chains for Access of Burundian Products to Various European, Middle Eastern and North American Markets.
