Tenders Are Invited for Acquisition of Two (2) 4x4 Pick-up Vehicles
The Republic of Burundi has received a grant from the African Development Bank Group
through the African Development Fund (ADF), the Adaptation to Transition Facility (ATF), and the European Union (EU), hereinafter referred to as the Bank, to finance the Multinational BURUNDI/ZAMBIE Lake Tanganyika Transport Corridor Development Project - Phase I - Bujumbura Port Rehabilitation, and intends to use part of this grant to make payments under the Contracts for the acquisition of two 4x4 double-cab vehicles. For these Contracts, the Recipient will make payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank's Guidelines applicable to Disbursements under Investment Project Financing, except for payments for which the contract stipulates that payment will be made by Letter of Credit. 2. The Project invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders to supply and deliver two double cab 4x4 diesel tropicalized vehicles.
