Open International Tender Acquisition of two (2) 4x4 pickup trucks
The Republic of Burundi has received a grant from the Al Bank Group through the African Development Fund (ADF), the Adaptation to Transition Facility (ATF), and the European Union (EU), hereinafter referred to as the Bank, to finance the Multinational BURUNDI/ZAMBIE Project for the Development of the Lake Tanganyika Transport Corridor – Phase I – Rehabilitation of the Port of Bujumbura. The Bank intends to use part of this grant to make payments under contracts for the acquisition of two 4x4 double-cab vehicles. For these contracts, the Recipient will make payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank's Guidelines applicable to Disbursements under Investment Project Financing, except for payments for which the contract stipulates payment by Letter of Credit.

4. Interested and eligible Bidders may obtain information at the project email address below and review the tender documents at the address mentioned below during business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
5. The Tender Dossier in French may be purchased by any Bidder upon request to the address below against a non-refundable payment of two hundred thousand (200,000) Burundian francs or in another freely convertible currency at the exchange rate of the Bank of the Republic of Burundi (BRB). Payment must be made to account No. 01110212309/ C 11165/CC12959 opened in the name of the Counterparty to the Lake Tanganyika Transport Corridor Development Project - Phase I - Bujumbura Port Rehabilitation/ BIF at the Bank of the Republic of Burundi. The original payment slip must be submitted in exchange for a physical copy of the file to the Secretariat of the General Directorate of the Port of Bujumbura. Submission of the tender documents by mail or home delivery is not accepted for this consultation. The tender documents can be sent by email to those who have purchased them upon request to the project email address above.
