Tender Are Invited For 2026 Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Improvements
The Project includes the following Work:
1. Sludge Storage Tank
a. Installation of an approximately 725, 000 gallon sludge storage tank to include integrated
sump, feed chamber, decant chamber, and tank cover.
b. Sludge storage tank walls, columns, and lid to be premanufactured and assembled on site
per manufacturer recommendations. Storage tank base to be poured in place by
contractor.
c. Extensive site excavation including removal of existing fill and supply / install of
engineered fill, dewatering measures, SESC and all other labor, equipment and materials.
d. Onsite yard piping including underdrain, influent sludge piping and decant discharge
drain.
e. Controls including electrical, conduit, wiring, etc.
2. Raw Wastewater Pump Replacement
a. Removal and replacement includes removal and replacement of existing Screw Pump
No. 1 and Screw Pump No. 2:
i. Lower bearing assembly with integral stub shaft, upper bearing assembly, upper
drive shaft weldment and screw pump weldment.
ii. Grease lubrication system including grease pump motor for lower bearing.
iii. Including all piping, valves, fittings, and appurtenances.
b. Channel improvements including grease line and conduit replacement within grout.
3. Mechanical Screen No. 2
a. Removal of existing manual bar screen and appurtenances, to include restoration to
channel to provide a smooth restored surface free of anchorage holes.
b. Installation of mechanical fine screen within existing headworks bypass channel.
c. Mechanical fine screen to be modular installation to limit building modifications
necessary for installation, contractor responsible to disassemble and reassemble screen
per manufacturer recommendations.
d. Installation of associated washer compactor unit including wash water, valves, and
appurtenances.
e. Electrical modifications to Headworks Building.
4. All work to include all electrical/mechanical connections, testing, permitting per manufacturer
recommendations and regulatory requirements.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 AM local time, Tuesday June 9th, 2026.
