Tenders Are Invited for Independent Individual Consultant for the Analysis of the Root Causes of a Fatal Accident Occurring at the Concrete Plant on the Project Site
the Republic of Burundi Has Obtained An Adf Grant and a Taf Grant From the African Development Bank and An Eu Grant to Contribute to the Financing of the Burundi/zambia Multinational Project for Development of the Transport Corridor on Lake Tanganyika, Phase I: Rehabilitation of the Port of Bujumbura, and Intends to Use Part of These Funds to Make Payments Under the Service Contract (intellectual Services) Subject to This Notice for Expression of Interest.
The Republic of Burundi has received an ADF grant and a TAF grant from the African Development Bank and an EU grant to contribute to the financing of the BURUNDI/ZAMBIA MULTINATIONAL PROJECT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LAKE TANGANYIKA TRANSPORT CORRIDOR, PHASE I: REHABILITATION OF THE PORT OF BUJUMBURA, and intends to use part of these funds to make payments under the service contract (intellectual services) that is the subject of this Call for Expressions of Interest.
2. Services to be provided under this contract
The qualified independent consultant, selected by the Maritime and Port Authority of Burundi (AMPB), will be required to undertake at least the following tasks:
2.1. Preparatory Phase
? Analyze all available project documents, including the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), the health and safety procedures of the contractor, work permits, work plans, preliminary risk assessments, incident reports, technical documentation related to concrete pouring activities, etc.;
? Identify and compile applicable national legislation, regulations, and standards regarding occupational health and safety
