Expression of interest for Recruitment of a Consultant Responsible for Developing a Gbv Action Plan
the General Objective of the Study is to Carry Out the Identification and Evaluation of the Risks and Actors of Gbv/eas/hs While Proposing Avenues for Prevention, Risk Mitigation, and Response to the Account of Project 2 of the Program for Strengthening Resilience to Food and Nutritional Insecurity in the Sahel “p2p2rs - Mali”.
Mali adopted a National Gender Policy (NGP) and a National Action Plan in 2011.
The Government of the Republic of Mali has received financing from the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) to cover the cost of Project 2 of the Program to Strengthen Resilience to Food and Nutritional Insecurity in the Sahel (P2 P2RS) – Mali Component, and intends to use part of the funds granted to finance the contract for the services of an individual consultant for the development of a Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Action Plan for P2-P2RS.
1. OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE MISSION
The overall objective of the study is to identify and assess the risks and actors involved in GBV/EAS/HS, while proposing avenues for prevention, risk mitigation, and response within the framework of Project 2 of the Program for Strengthening Resilience to Food and Nutritional Insecurity in the Sahel “P2P2RS - MALI”.
2. CONSULTANT'S MISSION
The Consultant will initially produce a report on the GBV Action Plan for the project, based on a review of existing Gender Action Plans (GAPs) and the experiences of other partners, in seven (7) copies with electronic support (a USB drive). The second step involves organizing regional workshops to share and promote ownership of the action plan with women from the project's beneficiary populations. The three (03) regions (Nioro, Nara and Koulikoro)
of the ten (10) Communes (Simby, Tougouné Rangabé, Nioro, Dioumara-Koussata, Gomitradougou,
Boron, Madina-Sacko, Sébété, Massantola)
