Tenders Are Invited for Completion of the Study on the Interconnection of the Customs It Systems of the Republic of Guinea and the Republic of Sierra Leone
the Services Provided Under This Contract Include: Defining a Common Procedure, Understood and Accepted By Both Administrations with the Aim of Reducing Border Crossing Times; Study and Understand the Procedure Put in Place at Each Structure; Identify Achievements and Weaknesses; Then Propose a Common Procedure Which Takes Into Account the Need to Reduce the Crossing Time, the Increase in Revenue to Be Collected and the Quality of the Goods Crossing the Border. (by Quality Means Ensuring That the Expiry Date is Not Near, That the Product is Suitable for Consumption); Carry Out a Complete Audit of the Customs It Systems of the Two Countries; the Development of Specifications for the Interconnection of the Two Computer Systems; the Cross-checking of the Data Collected Should Bring Out (a) a Comparative Analysis of the Customs and Transit Procedures of the Two Countries to Identify Points of Convergence and Divergence, in Terms of Texts and Practices; (b) a Comparative Analysis of the Customs and Transit Procedures of the Two Countries Compared to Recommended International Procedures.
