Tenders Are Invited for Public Tender for Facility and Property Management – ??facility Management Building Caf Panama
CAF —Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean— announces a public tender for the contracting of facility management services for the CAF Panama building, located in Panama City.
CAF has decided to implement a comprehensive project to upgrade and adapt the facilities and systems of its new building in Panama, using a Facility Management approach , with the goal of aligning this strategic asset with the organization's current and future operational needs. This project not only includes the physical renovation of the spaces, but also the development of a comprehensive solution aimed at optimizing the operation and maintenance of the facilities, ensuring adequate levels of efficiency, functionality, and sustainability throughout their lifecycle.
Within this framework, the definition and optimization of space configurations is planned from the initial stage, focusing on creating modern, flexible, and efficient workspaces that promote productivity, collaboration, continuous process improvement, and optimal employee performance. Design and operational criteria will also be incorporated to enable effective integration between infrastructure, general services, and user experience, under measurable and controllable management standards.
Additionally, the project includes the implementation of solutions that ensure maintainability, operational efficiency, and traceability of services from the building's commissioning, through the adoption of Facility Management practices such as service standardization, service level agreement definition, and performance management. All of this is aimed at guaranteeing optimal long-term operating conditions and facilitating the comprehensive management of the building.
In this sense, the aim is for the new building to meet high standards of quality, adaptability and sustainability, aligned with the best international practices in the design, construction and operation of corporate spaces, incorporating criteria of energy efficiency, responsible use of resources and well-being of the occupants.
The scope of the service includes the comprehensive management, coordination, operation and control of the services necessary to ensure the proper functioning, conservation and comfort of the facilities, in alignment with the operational and strategic standards of the Corporation.
The invitation is directed to companies specializing in Facility Management services , with a proven capacity to manage the required services in whole or in part, including both technical components (infrastructure and facilities maintenance) and general services (cleaning, security, and operational support). Preference will be given to firms with experience in corporate environments of similar scale and complexity, with a presence and operational capacity in the region, and that demonstrate management under formal service level agreements and performance monitoring through indicators.
Interested companies may formalize their intention to participate until5:00 PM (Panama time) on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
